Thousands of plants and animals have died

Chiranjibee Pokhrel to DC Nepal, March 25, 2016 - The fire has destroyed three hector area of the forest. Thousands of plants and animals have died due to the fire. In the forest, DUMSI, SALAK, LUISE, MRIGA like animals have been trapped in fire, as informed by the forest officers. The community forest’s wild fire when reached to the private forest, KHAR, AMLISO like plants have also been destroyed. Millions of property has been destroyed in the wildfire as informed by Mahendra Lawati, President of the Forest Consumers Committee. The villagers near to the village protected the village from the fire, so there has not been any life loss according to the information. The wild fire, which had started from 6:00 in the evening, had been controlled only after 12:00 at night due to the continuous effort of the villagers and the police as informed by Forest Consumers Committee. This is not the first case of the wild fire these days. As the storm has started since Falgun, 2072, the wildfires have been observed in Udayapur and Myagdi like district.
