7.5 - 8 K new posting in health technicians within 1 Yr. - Health Ministry

 Feb 27, 2016 - Though there is provision for posts in all the medical institutions at remote areas, most of the posts are unfulfilled. The ministry has decided to fulfill the posts very soon. In order to provide the health service in the approach of all, health institutions have been opened in several villages. But as there is no fulfillment of the posts according to the requirement of the institutions in the remote areas, the locals are deprived of getting health services; and it is the ongoing record since long. Health Ministry itself has admitted the fact that there is minimum posting in remote villages; and the ministry has even committed to fulfill the posts very soon.

“For permanent posting, we have demanded to make the entry of 7.5 to 8 thousand staff in the health sector within one year. Therefore, we are involved in posting; and after sending the employee, there would be services as well,” says the concerned authority.

People from remote area are deprived of getting the effective health services as there are no professional health employees including staff nurse. They have complaints that the government’s policy of – ‘ADHARBHUT SWASTHYA SEWA, JANATAKO PAHUNCHMA’ is limited to paper only.

Due to lack of technical manpower and necessary equipments, the villagers at remote villages are deprived of getting health services there. The policy has been made by the government, but the number of death toll has not been decreased due to lack of health services in the remote village area; and so the places were affected due to lack of doctors’ posting.

Now also, Jajarkot, Rukum, Rolpa, like remote areas, the number of health physicians is less than that of the provisions for the posting.
